My name is Amber and I am 19 years old. I have two cats, Ozzie who is about 8 months and Medusa who is over a year old. Medusa just recently had kittens yesterday. I have always been around cats and kittens my entire life. I absolutely love them! I just wanted to introduce myself and later on I'll share my picture of my two cats and the new kittens

hey there and welcome~

Can I ask why Medusa is not spayed, and allowed to have kittens?

I am very pro spay and neuter, and all my cats are rescues.

Thank you everyone! I'll have pics up as soon as I can.

Update!
This morning I found Medusa bleeding around the house. We took her into the vets and found a kitten that was still inside of her. So they are going to have surgery plus she'll get spayed. They told us that we may be able to pick her up later on tonight since she is nursing. So I'm hoping she'll be okay. So I'm taking care of the 3 babies while she's there.

A reason why she wasn't spayed in the first place is she had a social problem and she was given too young away from her momma. So we've raised her, she got to the point when she hit a certain age that we couldn't do anything with her except when she would get in heat. She liked to escape from our house and we wouldn't see her for days so we got another kitten to help her get socialized. We still believe she still has some of it, but I'm really glad that she has the motherly instinct because most the cats that I had didn't and would have killed them the instant they saw them.

Hi Amber!
Welcome to TCS!

I hope that Medusa's surgery goes well! Please let us know how she does. It's good that she's getting spayed.

Update

Well Medusa made it through her surgery and she didn't have any babies in her so they went ahead and spayed her. They told us they are going to keep her overnight and we're to call in the morning to see if we can pick her up.
