So tonight when I was at the grocery store- i thought i'd get the ingredients i needed and make my first attempt at quiche!
I just whipped everything up and put it in the oven. It's cooking as I type
I hope it turns out well! Here's what I put in mine

Ham & Cheese Quiche!

*ham (i filled the bottom of it- i cut the ham into cubes (leftover from christmas)
*pinch of chili powder
*pinch of garlic powder
*pinch of salt & pepper
*pinch of herb de province
*3 eggs
*1/2 cup of milk *i use my lactaid fat free*
*1/2 cup of colby/montery jack mixed shredded cheese
*2 teaspoons of all purpose flour
*2 teaspoons of parmesean (fat free) cheese
*and on top i added about 1/2 a cup of sharp chedder shredded cheese!

I put the ham in the bottom of the crust. Then i mixed together the milk, garlic, chili powder, salt& pepper, herb de province, eggs, montery/colby cheese, and parmesean cheese, flour, and everything else together and wisked it in a bowl. Then i added the mixture on top of the ham. After that....I added a layer of sharp chedder cheese on top of that then put another pie crust on that and made little slants in it
I'm hoping it turns out well! It's in the oven on 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes
I'll ley ya'll know how it turns out

Feel free to post your quiche recipes too!!!

That stuff is AWESOME for people with milk sensativities!
I love it
How's Amber feeling now? Is she in a lot of pain from her arm/thumb?

Her arm is killing her.
She woke up crying a second ago. So I made her take some tylenol. I cant stand seeing her in pain like that. I looked it up all the sites Ive read say its safe. At least its something.

I promise (and i say this from experience- i'm allergic to a lot of things and have tried just about everything as milk alternatives go) Lactaid Milk tastes IDENTICAL to regular milk. Because it is milk- it just has the protienes and other irritants pasturized out of it. So you cannot taste a difference at all. It doesn't taste a thing like that Soy or Rice junk
I can't stand those things. But Lactaid milk- it's AWESOME tastes just like the real thing

Bless her heart
I hope the Tylenol will help a little. Can she call a pharmacist or doctor's after hours numbers and see if she can have something called in that won't hurt lava girl but will help her? I hate to hear about her being in pain

The Tylenol won't hurt her or Lava Girl.Other than that, I'm not sure what she could take. There are soooo many things that aren't safe for babies in the womb.
