my sweet Lil Bit died on Sunday, she had been ill for about a week, same symptoms as my Zeus, bloated tummy, the vet really couldn't find anything, just gave me antibiotics, but when I got home on Sunday she was having a hard time breathing, basically gasping for air. I held her until she breathed her last, by the time I had gotten to the vet she would have been gone anyway. I believe she was another victim to the FIP that was brought into my home by someone. she was a sickly little girl from the start, i knew her time would be short, but her fate was euthanasia if I hadn't taken her, so I gave her a couple months of life and love. She liked to groom the other cats, she was always licking someone I never got any pics posted of her, but I have some on undeveloped rolls of film which I will post when they do get developed. She was a calico, with the firiest orange i had ever seen, like Autumn leaves. Her eyes were always sad, filled with a wisdom she shouldn't have had. I love you little Thene, my baby girl, Meowmy misses your quiet affection

Katie, I'm so sorry that you are suffering another loss of such a precious little soul. Athena (and I) thanks you for bringing her into your home and heart, and for loving her unconditionally and without reserve.

Oh, Katie, I'm so sorry you lost your sweet Lil Bit. Athena's time here was too short but, thanks to you, at least she had a chance at life, plenty of love, and lots of other kitties to lick. My heart is with you. RIP beautiful Athena.
