No, but I made it clear that I would appreciate if she kept in touch because we wanted to know how the kitty was doing. And I didn't want to be a pest so I've been trying to keep correspondence on my end to a minimum.
I am so sorry that you are still anticipating your new baby, Em. It is so hard. I hope the foster mom at least can give you an update instead of never calling for over a week....
Hope you get your kitty home soon. I know you have been waiting for a long time now.
Just caught the thread. WOW!! Not just 1 but 3 red female poly's in one litter! That has got to be the cutest litter that I've ever seen!!
Don't be afraid to nudge the foster mom and the agency. People that do rescue are not always the most organized - they are in it because they love animals, not because they are organized. Offering to take on the responsibilities for caring for the kitten shows them that you are a good kitty mom and they always like that. On the other hand, some foster moms, particularly those that have multiple litters of kittens (as you indicated) are the overly-motherly types and have trouble letting go. Keep pushing them and let them know that you know what you are doing!
I can't wait to see pictures - please get your camera fixed!!
