We still haven't made any decisions regarding Arek. We have listed him on our website, but I have no idea whether I'll actually be able to let him go if it comes down to it. I don't know if I'm being selfish not to give him up, or if I'm really trying to do what's in his best interest, but we're going to give it some more time... or maybe I just need more time to get used to the idea.

On a happier note, we're getting our kittens on Wednesday! Arek won't have to worry about them for a little while, we'll be doing a slow introduction with the other cats so they'll be staying in the office for at least the next two weeks. I made a new siggy and thought I'd share it with you, but it's not great (we don't have photoshop or anything like that.) My husband named the boy... I was trying to stick with flower names. I was going to name them "Baby's Breath" and "Bachelor's Button" ("Little Bit" and "Button" for short) but I mentioned a flower I found called "Sneezeweed" and my husband loved it!!! So Sneezeweed and Snow Berry it is!

We'll post more pictures when they get here, in the meantime, ReesesPBC was kind enough to make a siggy for me with the only pictures I currently have.

Congrats on the new babies, who, BTW have awesome names! I know you aren't taking the decision with Arek lightly, but you know, if the perfect home comes along for him....it will just "feel" right. There is no way to explain it, you will just know. It's not an easy or fun decision to make & your heart will be broken should he get adopted, but if it's right for him, then you need to do what you must.

That's what I'm thinking... just because he's on the website does NOT mean I have to give him up, and I'll "know" if the right adopter ever does come along. I just want what is best for him and I HATE not knowing what that is. I wish there were a way to "test" him... if I had a friend who could keep him and didn't have any other children or pets, we could see if he seemed happier with her and go from there. If he's going to be an anti-social grumpy cat no matter where he goes, then he needs to stay right here with me!!!

Thank you again, everyone, for your support. This is a horrible decision to have to make, and I'm really grateful for you guys.
