Thank goodness for that, so pleased to hear it!

People actually SAID that to you?
I do realise that people who don't have beloved pets don't always understand the bond we have with ours, but for heaven's sake it is really rude and ill mannered to voice that sort of thing to someone who's upset

A major reason why TCS is so important, is members support when a crisis happens.

Simon is home.

I am so happy for you Eva.

Be a good boy at he vet today Simon.

Oh, Eva! I am so, so happy to hear your wandering boy has returned. What a relief for you.

I can't believe the insensitivity of those people to make remarks like that. Even if they don't understand why you would be so upset, can't they at least acknowledge that you are upset and give you a little emotional support/pastoral care? No, I guess that's asking too much of some people.

Anyway! Welcome home, wandering boy! You had Mum and Dad really worried. Don't do that again, OK?

That is such great news! I know how you feel - people said things like that to me after Napoleon died - would they feel like over one of their children? Anyway, it is wonderful that the TCS vibes worked and I hope all goes well at the vet.

Again Thank You everyone for all the vibes!!! They meant everything to me!

Simon's appointment wasn't as good as I'd hoped for. He has torn his ACL in is back left knee and will require surgery and weeks of physical therapy.
It is an uncommon injury in cats according to the vet.

His surgery is scheduled for Jan 29th so please keep him in your prayers. He has a long road to recovery.

The vet could only guess but she said he either

1. was hit by a car ( which is unlikely because he has no other injuries)
2. someone hit him with something like a pipe, baseball bat. ( also unlikely)
3. he caught his foot jumping over a fence ( which is a good possibility)

Who knows. According to the vet it's a very uncommon injury in a cat.

Thanks for the vibes. It should prove an interesting 2 weeks trying to keep him down.
