My cat safety-netting in the yard is down. Cats are already stir-crazy from not being able to go out. Now they'll have to wait even longer.

We hope everyone is safe and warm!

DH went thru Dallas last night and the roads were just wet (I was worried); he is on his way to St Louis via Memphis hoping to miss the worst of it. Here it is just bitter cold (Four Corners of NM) and the road is still icy.

I'm reminded of a cat, Io, who insisted on going out after an ice storm to relieve herself. She ran out, slid across the porch and landed in the yard in the squat position. After she was done, she gingerly made her way back into the house.
