BTW Tiff and Shannon, this was fel-d1's first ever show too!!!
His Maya placed 3rd or 4th best in Ring 1 and 6th best in ring 2 of the HHP class!!! I think he and his DW (dear wife) was more stressed then the cat!!!

Great pics of the show. It's always cool to see how other countries set up their shows. Looks very clean and professional. Nice.

I can't imagine showing lots of cats like some of you guys do... it's crazy enough keeping track of 1!

There was one E. Burm at the show - my late BB's brother, call name BBoy! Unfortunately, no-one seems to have pics of him!

And about the trophies...you want to keep the first you ever got and the others after a while, just collect space and dust!

Being the rosette maker, I rarely even hang up the rosettes even!

Thank you all on the compliments on the rosettes!
I do try my best!

No no... you don't understand.
I used to be in dance competitions, and I would get a trophy for each one as long as I placed. I had an entire bookshelf and countertop dedicated to displaying them.

Yeah its nice to get a few trophies - I got a lot showing various HHP's. After awhile you just gather them up, give them to the next show to hand out in rings where you are NOT showing
I figure if its a first timer and they are showing HHP's and their cat wins something - they are more then thrilled

Use to keep rosettes too, but after awhile you accumulate far too many - I just would keep the regional/national awards after awhile. I do like to hang on to some of the first ones a kitten/cat would get unless he/she went on to win regional/national.

Final or no! Of course it's alway more fun when you final!
And it's even more fun than that if you're NOT the show manager!!!

I was never show manager, but was entry clerk for a few clubs - it was fun - getting to see who was showing and what cats entered. I was good at not telling who was entered

Thanks! I didn't take any of the pics since I am seriously camera/picture taking challenged!!!
