Here... or There... Hmmm
Cuz nothing else is working!!!

OK... My back has been hurting for almost two weeks now, and I haven't been able to work out and it's really beginning to make me really mad. It's a really odd pain and I've been to the doctor and basically it's not going to do permanent damage but I have to just let it go away. The DR gave me Lodine which isn't a big pill, just a anti-inflammatory with pain medicine. It's helping to take the edge off of it. It's a lot of pressure and I tried everything. I've done the ice, heating pad, all the stretches the DR gave me, little exercises , stretches on the body ball and nothing works, and it all makes it hurt worse. So I'm not doing anything, but it's making me mad. I can't do anything and how am I supposed to lose any more weight? Why is it giving me so much crap now when I've taken 31 lbs off of it? I'm doing the right thing to take care of myself and my body is shutting down on me it feels like. So, after this long ramble I am asking for board vibes for it to go away quickly so I can start working out again and keep losing weight. Board vibes always help so much and after two weeks I am willing to try for anything to make it go away.

Thanks guys!
Jill (and Kitters)

Thanks already guys... Atleast the pills the doctor gave me are taking the edge off... Can't wait for them to kick in right now... I'll get to sleep comfortably atleast. The good thing about these pills are that they don't make me sleepy and they don't upset my tummy.

well heres sending some warm and soothing <<<<<<< back rubs >>>>>>> to help ease your back a bit.
You know they do say some pains are associated with other problems, you know like it is manifesting itself in your back ? Have you looked at alternative therapies. If you think AT is all a load of hogwash, then fine, just a thought.
Take Care

Did you try sleeping with a pillow under your knees??
Do you have access to a whirlpool tub and have the jets work on your back??
My back was really stiff back beginning of November and it was driving me crazy-however I started walking 30 minutes outside and after 3-4 days it started feeling better and the pain has gone away and hasn't come back.

Sending you tons of {{{{{{VIBES}}}}}}

Are you sure you didn't dislocate something in your back? Like a disc?

I do think that happens!! This time however everythings been going real good. My boss is on vacation now, (which is a good thing)
, we've been working out well, I've been losing weight, DH and I are doing good, (no arguments). I Have not looked into AT but will definatly look into it now, any suggestion is better than a sharp stick in the eye!

While I was laying in bed yesterday I did put the pillow under my knees, I tend to sleep on my side, but I try for as long as possible to keep the pillow there. I wish I had access to a hottub! Ohhh, that'd be nice. I walk quite a bit at work all day, constantly on my feet and moving. My neighbor and I were going to start walking again outside starting tonight, but now we just got dumped on with snow. Oh goodie..! She's broken her back before so we don't walk in the snow as she falls a lot, and last thing we need is both of us broke! So I am going to try and think of something else for tonight. Dh and I were walking around a store last saturday (6th) and that's when it got real painful though we were shopping for like 2 hours! I think it was just too much, though shopping with him always ends up that long!

Yeah, I went to the DR last monday and she said it was the muscles, said they were "stringy" or "fibrous" though I can't remember which now. She definatly said it was only muscle this time. Though when I describe how it hurts other times she thinks that is Siatica. But it's not a pain like that now. This is just a very very odd one for me.

Thanks everyone else...
I am hoping that board vibes will make it go away! I willing to try anything now!
