How many people are on your favorite forum (maybe it's this one) and cook at the same time? How many times do you burn your food because your posting?? I did that tonight. I was fixing a stir fry. And I got so wrapped up in reading the forum that I forgot about what I was cooking. So needless to say I couldn't eat the bottom.

Well I just can't cook anyways...I am easily distracted.

But yes, my computer is right next to the kitchen and there have been MANY of times that dinner was overcooked.

lol I cook and hang out here all the time! But so far, I've never burned anything....(knock on wood). Hope your stir fry tasted good, at least the non-burned parts!

lol. Well I couldn't taste the cheese in it. But otherwise it was ok.. Hubby ate the burned parts.

i do all the time, especially during thawing time but i almost forgot the cookies in the oven today..you know...BEEEPPPP..yeah yeah i hear it....type type type..CRAP!!! RUN

Yeah, I've messed stuff up in the kitchen from being on TCS before. Like the homemade mac-n-cheese that stayed in the pot a bit too long...and it stuck so bad to the bottom, it hardly made it to the baking dish. Oh, well. It ended up tasting fine when it was all said and done.

Not me, I give my full attention to TCS...sadly even my favorite tv shows get the backburner

I can be on the board here and still do several other things around the house. I don't think I have ever burned food.

My computer and kitchen are in different parts of the house so that wouldn't work unless I am waiting for something to finish baking in the oven!
