with it does not give you the right to stick you little head in it and drink all of the milk out of her cereal when she's not looking!
Bad kitten
At least it's lactaid milk and not the real thing....../ I swear- this foster kitten has turned into such a brat lately- he is into EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And has become soooooo rotten and daring. He'll even chase the dog around the house
Keep in mind- Fosters is an Australian Shepherd/Collie mix...not a little dog
Then after their chasing session- they'll both take a nap together
/ Uhhhh...but back to the food- he's been stealing EVERYONEs food lately, or at least trying his best to
What's gotten into him
Last night he tried to steal my spaghetti
What a weird little kitten
You'd think i never feed him....but i swear the little stinker eats like a little pig

Aww bless
When you said about him chasing the dog
I had a laugh

Max is into any type of food and drink
Billy isn't as keen.

Now he has gas from stealing my milk
At least i haven't cleaned out his litter yet. I will have to do that soon
/ I swear- he's soooooo rotten. The list goes on and on...
he's gonna be one cute little trouble maker when he's full grown
Whoever adopts him is gonna have Fun
I'm recommending he go into a home with another kitty or dog (he doesn't do well by himself- he's VERY social and most of all- very rotten
and an exceptional typer- he's helping me navigate TCS as i type

Nikki, I've said it before and I'll say it again "I truly think him and 8-bit are related". They are both little stinkers.

But, you gotta love him. Can you imagine how boring life would be if we didn't have the kitty/cat antics to enjoy every day?

He's sooo rotten....earlier when he dug through my purse, he dug out more lip gloss, a tampon, mascara, papers, and pens
He then decided tampons were his favorite and that a nice game of kitten soccer was in order
/ So after I took everything away from him and hid my purse from him too (he was NOT happy when i did that
) he decided Fosters tail made a nice toy and decided to chase it around
When Fosters had enoguh of his antics he picked Kolar up by the hide and then put him in the floor and bathed him
(it's cute- he'll carry him around the entire house like a little baby-he's always super gentle with him
) Now Kolar is in his cage and is sleeping
for now...
I'm sure he'll be up screaming in a minute
Ahh the joys of foster kittens

lol You'd better send a copy of 8-bit's antics with Kolar's new Meowmy/Purrpaw and let them know the things they might expect to happen!
He sounds like quite the little character.

Is there any news about a possible new home soon for him?
You're gonna miss him when he leaves and the house is quiet.

Nope- not yet! But thankyou for asking
/ He won't be placed up for adoption or even showcased on our website until he is completly well and has been neutered- that's just the way our shelter works. We never place our little sicklings up for adoption until they are 100%
However- ALL of his brothers got adopted within 1-2 days of being placed up for adoption. We have such a huge success rate at our shelter....i don't have any doubts in my mind that he'll find a wonderul home when he's ready
/ I will definitely miss him when he's gone!!! I'm still really missing little Kenzie (the little black dsh i had a few months ago- she found an awesome home!) I miss all of my foster kittens when they're gone
That's the tough part of being a foster momma- letting them go...but it's sooo rewarding to know they're happy and healthy in their new homes...and that i am able to help more

Nikki, do keep in contact with the people who adopt the kitties that you foster?

The lady who fostered Charlotte and Everest is coming by on tuesday for her second visit with them. She's going to be surprised at how big they have gotten. She also wants to see Ev before he is snipped next week. She only lives a few minutes away and I told her she's welcome to visit whenever she wants as long as I get a few days notice ahead of time.

well..it just depends. i've fostered hundreds of kittens/cats..so it's impossible to stay in touch with all of them. however, i do hear pretty often from some of the adoptive families
it makes my day to know how well my former fosters are doing in their new forever homes
some have even been so inspired that they've started fostering and volunteering themselves
that is always a blessing!!!!! we do a rigirious screening before any animals are adopted and all animals must be "fostered" in their new homes for 3 days before a family is allowed to make a final decision (to make sure everything works out in the new environment) so having an excellent screening plan as well as that coupled with other procedures helps us ensure our animals wind up in the best possible home
we all require ALL animals to be altared and fully tested and vaccinated before being put up for adoption
we encourage responsible ownership, therefore we practice responsibility with the animals we're entrusted with
. i have had the opportunity to see several of my former fosters with their new families (some have even come by for lunch and brought their furbabies with them
) that is always awesome to know my work really paid off and the kitties are happy now! so that always makes me smile.
