I've been a big fan of the forum for some time, but have never posted any pictures of my baby.

I was so lucky to have adopted Sidney on 4/30/05. After losing my first fur-baby, Kitkat, I didn't think I could get beyond the feeling of guilt just from the thought of loving another kitty. One day I walked into the local animal shelter, my second such trip just to look at the babies in need of a home, and started talking to this nice woman. As it turned out, she was a foster mom of some kittens. On impulse, I gave her my name and number, on the chance that she would want to let me have one of her foster when they were old enough. Some weeks later, Cora (the foster mom) called to tell me she had the perfect baby for me.

This is Sidney the day I got her home. What an expression on her face!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the monkey, helping my dad with the plants.

My little money hanging on the back of my chair.

And below are a couple of grown up Sid.

Don't you just love that spot on her face? Makes her look like she's forever mischievous or naughty.

You're right, it is a beautymark!

BTW, your ginger....that's what my Kit looked like.
I still miss her so much.

Love the plant feeding shot. What a nosy parker! I guess your dad had to stay crouched down like that for awhile so as not to disturb Sid?!

He was actually carrying her around on his shoulder like that while grooming and watering the plants.

Thats so funny, I have one of mine on my shoulders while I do my daily things around the house, too.

Love the face markings. My Topaz has a beauty spot, too!

When Mom and Dad were first married, her kitten would accompany Dad everywhere on his shoulder.

What a cute little kitten she was! I love the one of her hanging out of the box!

She's very, very beautiful!

Thanks, everyone! I am glad you find her as adorable as I do. I'm a proud meowmy, except in the mornings when she's causing a ruckus trying to get me up to feed her. What a big adorable goof
