This food (by Nature Organics Chicken & Chicken Liver Canned Cat Food) is the first time I've seen that ingredient:

Organic Chicken, Natural Well Water, Organic Chicken Liver, Dicalcium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride, Organic Guar Gum, Taurine, Choline Chloride, Vitamin Supplements (E, A, Riboflavin, D3, B12), Niacin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Biotin, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite.

Their dry reads like this:

Ingredients
Organic Chicken, Chicken Meal, Organic Ground Barley, Organic Ground Oats, Organic Brown Rice, Fish Meal, Organic Chicken Hydrolysate, Organic Peas, Organic Flaxseed Meal, Natural Flavors, Chicken Fat (Stabilized with Mixed Tocopherols), Salt, Potassium Chloride, Taurine, Vitamin E Supplement, Choline Chloride, Zinc Sulfate, Zinc Proteinate, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Organic Dried Tomatoes, Organic Cranberries, Organic Carrots, Organic Kelp, Organic Spinach, Dried Chicory Root

perhaps it seems a little overboard, yes, but you have to keep in mind the people that they'd be primarily looking to attract... I would think from that list that they're looking at people in their 20's-40's who are very health conscious and look for organic foods in everything they buy. Adding "well water" makes it sound more wholesome and pure.

It is marketing ... in some cases well water is worse than city water ...lol.. my town has five wells ...

I will say my girls love the canned meat only dog foods by organics... the drys dont impress me at all ...
