Hello fellow kitty lovers,



My name is Anne and I am 44 , SWF from Ontario Canada. I have two older brothers and an older sister who are all married with families. I'm the smart one.
I live with my parents and I own a 3 year old calico (orange , black and white) DSH named Taffy and a 2 year old grey and white tabby DSH named Misty.



I also volunteer at my local animal shelter every week for an hour and help with the cats and kittens. I have also owned other animals/pets in my life such as, dogs, horses, hamsters, gerbils, fishes.
I adore horses and used to work with a thoroughbred (breeding barn with mares, foals and stallions) and a hunter/jumper stable. I also did dog grooming.


I also completed University courses on animal care and health and received my animal care certificate and I also did a two day course on animal health and first aid and got a certificate for that as well.


I hope I meet lots of cool kitty pals in here who I can email and become friends with and also to learn lots about cats with all the information in the forum.

Glad you could make it here -- we love Canadian folks and cats! The nine of us (all rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered of course) have 12 brothers and sisters in sanctuary in Canada, some of whom have been adopted into loving homes there. It's due to impending divorce, forced relocation to a city with stupid quotas, and having to ensure they are safe...that's the only reason we'd ever separate from our beloved family members, and it breaks our hearts. Anyway, we agree -- you ARE the smart one! -- and we look forward to chatting. Thanks for sharing photos -- Taffy and Misty are very fine felines!
