FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG, I can't catch a break.

I have to bring my car into my mechanic, hopefully tomorrow. I just noticed this awful grinding noise in the front driver side wheel area.

But tomorrow is Friday and I just noticed this right now on my way home, so NOW I waon't be able to get it into him until Monday...please send vibes that my wheel won't fly off and I crash..

I can't afford this at all right now AND I will prolly have to get a rental while he's fixing it...when It used to break, my ex would drive me around..now I have no chauffeur...

Also vibes that its a cheap fix please

They go from OKAY to worn out in no time. Once they start wearing, they go quick. Maybe notice if your steering wheel pulls to that side when you are braking, that's a fair sign of it.

#1 - I hope that its something simple and cheap.
I know this is the last thing you need right now.

#2 - I've finally decided who you remind me of. It's the ":censor::censor::censor::censor:" and "freak" usage and the fun personality.
Do you watch Scrubs? You remind me of Elliot, the blonde girl doctor.
(That's meant to be a compliment btw.)

Depends on where it fell to. If one broke off and is jammed, it'll scrape and squeal. You are probably braking more when you are in reverse, that's why you hear it more then.

Is it noisy going down the road when you aren't braking???

No Vacancy...One on the way!
Poo that sounds terrible!
At least your catching before what ever it is started to affect other aspects of your car/driving. Some people just ignore it..like this girl Erica I know...jeeze..what a winner
, she so thought ignoring her acceleration problems in her car would evenutally make them go away...yeah a few hundered dollars later the dork still had problems with the car, the whole thing was a mess. HA! But now she has a new car
and promises to take car of it like it was one of her furry babies!

I don't know a thing about cars, but if it's possibly a brake pad you don't really want to be driving around in your car right now! Take buses or taxis, or better yet, just stay home. The last thing you need is to be driving and have your brakes fail: not only for you but for anyone around if that happened.

I am glad I am not alone in my observation

I hope the car has something only minor wrong with it and doesn't cost too much - maybe your boss could start buying you breakpads instead of lattes?
