first sign of affection between cats!

It just melted my heart and I had to share.

Tiger's been with us for a few weeks and Miko's been slow to warm up to her, but lately they've been playing a lot.

Then this morning after Miko had been in my bedroom all night we came out into the living room and Tiger ran up to her put her arm around her neck and licked her cheek. Awww.

Miko seemed a little shocked, she's been an only kitty for 2 and a half years.

Poor Tiger misses her littermates I think.
But I think she's wearing Miko down and they're on the road to becoming good adopted sisters.

Awwwwwwwwww How sweet. It sounds like things have gone beautiful in their introductions. I love kitty love.

I read in a cat care book that once the resident cat(s) and the newbie clean each other, they're safe to leave alone during the day. Sounds like your babies are on the right path!
