We have a problem with roaming animals in our neighborhood. Too many pet owners in the neighborhood I live let their animals wander all day and night. Too often I will wake up and find the garbage cans picked through and trash flown to the grown.
Today is trash day in my neighborhood. Since B is still sick, I took the trash out to the curb last night.
I had 2 96-inch fluorescent bulbs in one garbage can...needless to say the bulbs stuck WAY out.
I was positive I had everything balanced just right when I walked back into the house. I was confident there was no way the can with the bulbs would tip over.
Needless to say my confidence was destroy this morning when I began to pull out of the driveway. Shattered glass EVERYWHERE. Plus I was running a little behind to beat the morning traffic. Since I didn't want to just leave glass all over the drive (or drive through it), I parked the car and cleaned it all up. This took me 15 minutes.
Then 2 mutts can running over to me and started barking at me. I think that they were "just let out" by a neighbor, but I couldn't see which one since it was still dark out.
I yelled at them "SHOO! BEFORE I CALL ANIMAL CONTROL!" which they of course ran off.
Hopefully that's the only thing that happens today!!
