I'm new and so is my cat!

Found this site while looking for information on the cat flu...

I just picked up an 8yo female cat from the shelter last Saturday. She's a total darling, although a little shy still. Now if I can just get her over that cold so that we can get to know her better...

It's silly but when I started thinking of adopting another cat (my gorgeous Ho Chi Minh passed away before Christmas), I absolutely wanted a cat with white paws... lol

to TheCatSite and merci beaucoup for adopting an ADULT cat and loving her! Maki is quite a little tuxedo beauty, isn't she? We add our best thoughts and prayers for her quick recovery as well -- has she had her innoculations, we hope? The upper respiratory infections can be quite stubborn, but usually oral antibiotics (from the vet) can help...

We are 9! rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered felines who live in the desert with our devoted servant. Look forward to seeing you both around!
