wandering

Buttons has started wandering. next door has a large dog who i'm sure would love a button sized snack. We have a large backyard and our other cats have free roam of the neighbourhood. I'm really worried about him, how can I make him stay inside without locking him up. I'm going to have him neutered asap which I hope will stop him.

Any other ideas, please I'm desparete!

Before you start looking into other reasons, have him nuetered. This is the first reason for wandering or straying....

I would keep him in anyway until a few weeks after his neuter - you don't want him going making kittens with anyone - just because you wouldn't have to deal with the pregnancy and kittens if the female was someone else's cat, it's no less your responsibility to try to prevent it happening!
