the name's shaela. i've been reading the forum for a while, but finally decided to register and join those who love cats just as much as i do.
i have two that mean the world to me (hopefully a new addition will be added soon).

the oldest cat is about 4 years old. i honestly can't say what breed it is, even though it looks similar to a siamese (maybe i can get some help on this one?). a friend found the mother and gave her to me because i had always wanted a black female cat. i later found out she was pregnant and i ended up with solid black kittens and a white kitten that seemed to get darker spots as the weeks went on around his face, ears, tail, and feet. i had to give away all the cats except one, so i kept this amazing cat that i love to death, lol:

we named him 'boots' & this is the most recent picture of him -- http://i3.tinypic.com/2ijkhef.jpg

he's not one to like cameras that much.

the other cat is roughly 9 months. he was rather small when my boyfriend and i found him near a tunnel beside the road. he just came running up to us, so we put him in the vehicle and brought him home. i didn't notice that he had a hurt leg until after i bathed him and caught him limping around. i took good care, making sure the cat was with me at all times. he healed up quickly, but still walks with a limp. he doesn't seem to be in pain over it, though. i don't know what breed he is, either. he interacts well with boots, even getting him to where he will play again.

so we named him 'blackie' & this is him playing with his favorite toy -- http://i18.tinypic.com/4hwpguf.jpg

chao!

I have a 9 month old male cat. Had him "fixed" at 6 months. He is an indoor cat although he will lie on the deck outside sometimes, but he doesn't seem to want to go any further than that. He has a natural sweet woodsy scent. He smells so good I love to cuddle close to him just to smell him. It almost smells like he has on perfume which he doesn't. Why does he smell so good? Is it common for cats to smell good? I've had a couple other cats when I was younger but they were female...and I don't remember them smelling so good. Is it because he's male? Is it the breed he is? He's just a solid gray cat, no markings, regular short hair, American I think, affectionate and good natured. But why does he smell so good?

Welcome Boots, Blackie, and Shaela

to TheCatSite and THANK YOU for rescuing/adopting them -- they are so gorgeously handsome! Yes, Boots looks 100% Seal Point Siamese to me, and Blackie looks like a black Siamese (the kitten of a Siamese and ???). You must love them both very much -- and thank you for wanting to make a twosome a threesome! As you can see, we believe in rescuing, adopting, and loving multiple cats here! All 9 of us are rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered of course, and our devoted human has loved, lived with, rescued, and advoCATed for cats all her life! We are so glad you're here, thank you for caring and sharing photos, and hope to see you here a lot!

Hi & welcome to TCS!
Your babies are gorgeous!

Your kitty is probably not Siamese, not full breed at any rate. The coloring is definitely seal point, which can occur in moggies as well as Siamese. Lovely, though!
In our Breeder's forum, you can find lots of discussion about cat genetics and coloring. It's very interesting!
