I voted to rename her. She isn't really that old, and if the name doesn't suit her, I say go for it. If you think about it, someone from the shelter that didn't know her personality at all gave her that name as soon as she arrived. Why not give her a new name to signify that she is in her forever home

The rescue said she was 6 months old when we adopted her, but there is no way she's that old IMO. We're pretty sure she's about 4 1/2 months old now.

I'll have to run Cleopatra past Earl and see what he thinks.
I like it - she was a little minx, intelligent, stubborn, willfull, and it would fit with Ophelia because she was also in a Shakepearean play.

See, now I think she looks more like an Ophelia, but that one's obviously out!
I like Cleopatra as well...Cleo. Either that or just call her "Trouble".

She sounds like a cute girl. Cats adapt well to new names, even after a while. When my grandma got a new cat she named him "Hershey" just like her two previous cats. She likes the name. But Mojo could adapt to any name you see fit. My dad suggested "Snookie" but it may be too cutsey if she's a sleek sophisticate. I like Magpie or Maggie as well. How about Cocoa?

if you want to rename her, then do it. i've renamed all 3 of my adopted children - who knows how many names Chip had before i got him! the shelter had called him Bear, but he was a found adult, declawed, neutered stray, so he had at least 1 other name before that. he knows his current name just fine! here's a site i like for names:
need a perfect name for a new pet?
it has a search feature - really cool!

I think she is young enough to change it, but I don't mind Mojo
