My friends bird got out!!

She opened her door this morning to get something off the porch, and he took out!! Now hes gone. Can you guys please send some vibes to Mr Lonely, that we can find him safe and sound.

Oh no! What kind of bird? Were the wings partly clipped or fully grown out? Tell your friend to leave his cage outside. He might come back.

Does she have another one, if so put it in a cage and take it outside maybe it will make some noise and the other bird will hear it, I can't tell you how many loose cockateils I have caught that way

Oh No! I hope she gets him back. I lost a tiel and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Tell her to put an ad in the paper, posters up around the neighborhood, pet stores, vets offices and to call the shelters around her. You can also put a lost ad up on http://www.birdhotline.com/ (this site was a big help when I lost my tiel a few people got ahold of me)

Tell her not to give up hope! You would be suprised how many are found. I would keep a light on outside at night and put his cage outside opened somewhere where he might be able to see it.
