Degrassi TNG: the murder of **warning spoilers*

Any other closet Degrassi watchers in our midst???? I'm not a faithful fan, but I'll watch it when I happen to be home and it happens to be on. Enough that I know who everyone is and a decent number of the major plotlines......
Anyway, tonight JT died....he was stabbed in the back at a house party, a venue where assaults and murders actually do happen with alarming frequency around here (Toronto, where the show takes place). Anyway, the whole killing off of a main character is a bold step. What does everyone else think? Did anyone expect it would be JT who would die?

What? JT died? OMG! I didn't know the show was on last night (my sister's the fan and she never can remember when it's on either), but dang man, I've watched it enough that I'm still shocked JT died.

I remember when Rick died, I wasn't as sad because I didn't really like him. But JT? Man, last night's episode sucked! JT was awesome.
