I recently acquired a young stray female.. I'd say she's about 6 months old or so. The past week we've noticed her belly getting bigger. She eats several times a day but not really so much that she's fat.. and the majority of the "fat belly" seems to be on the lower part of her stomach. It seems that the hair is thinning around her nipples.. but I attributed that to my 2 month old former feral that tries to suckle the other kittens.
I have felt her stomach and felt a small hard "ball" in her lower belly that seemed to move a little each time I felt it. The kitty is almost overly affectionate the past couple of days and loves having her belly rubbed.
I haven't had her to the vet yet but was curious what you all think.. could she be pregnant?

She certainly could be pregnant.....at this point, you are best off taking her to your vet to get an accurate assessment.

Let us know what your vet says. Also, it is best to keep her seperated from your other cats until she has been vet checked. I would suggest setting her up with her own room and definately keep her indoors only.
