Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m curious about which methods worked best to keep your kitties from eating too quickly.
My kitten Smokey eats very very fast, and often ends up regurgitating her food. She eats Eukanuba dry kitten food, and I am following the feeding guidelines for her age and weight.
She is otherwise completely healthy, and only throws up un-chewed food immediately after eating, so Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m pretty sure this is a behavioral issue and not a medical or nutritional issue.
Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve done my research and read of a few ways to try to slow her down. Which have worked for you guys? Any other suggestions?
- Spreading her food out on a big plate?
- Putting a medium sized rock or small balls into her food dish with the food?
- Elevating her food dish?
- Feeding her very small amounts of food spread throughout the day?
Thanks in advance for your responses!
