What colour would you call Lily? She's kind of a silver tabby, but she has orange through her coat as well... Someone asked me today, and I couldn't really answer! Is there a "name" for her?? Does anyone have a kitty coloured like Lily?

in a pile of open toed shoes!
I don't know what she's called, but Louie's mom was colored like that, she was white, gray, & orange/cream, and the dad must've been black/tabby something or other....cause the kittens turned out: 1 calico, 2 silver tabby's (1 being Louie), 2 creme/orange tabby's, and 1 brown/black tabby girl with a white muzzle and white boots (she's the one I originally wanted....)

Thanks, that's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure if it was something I just made up....

I love her back leg how the grey stripes turn into orange stripes!

I think I was going to go with a blue patch tabby..Or is it parti tabby? Ugh! I always get so confused between the two..

Lily is so pretty. I would call her a grey tortie, but my husband said maybe "mouse (like the horse color) tortie"

Our cat Tiggy has very similar colours as your Lily. The grey, stripes and orange throughout. Here's a pic...I need some more recent ones lol

Beautiful kitty. I would also call her a dilute torbie. Dilute being the 'faded' black and orange and torbie being a tortiseshell/tabby. I posted a pic of a regular torbie earlier today in another thread (she was a kitty I rescued this past summer, had to put her in the garage for a bit so don't mind the 'dust'
). If your kitty weren't a dilute, she'd look a lot like this:

Ok, I was thinking she would be a 'patched tabby'. So what does a patched tabby look like?

I remember when you got her. She reminded me so much of the sweet Petunia (RIP)

But Lily ended up being a beautiful lighter version.
