My baby Maverick has not been eating well, and last week, a fellow cat lover asked me whether he had an underbite. Well, he does (his little canines hang out and he looks like Dracula!!
), but I didn't realize this could cause problems eating.
Last night, of coincidence, a local news channel ran a program about dogs having trouble eating due to underbite issues. The solution was doggie braces.
Has anyone encountered this problem - and if yes, what type of food works? I gave my little guy soft food the past few days, but when I finally weaned him off of the dry, last night he threw up all the soft. So I'm back to him not eating again....he goes to the vet tonight so hopefully they will help get to the bottom of this.
