Yesterday LuckyGirl was acting like she was starving at 9am when we got up. Don't worry, Daddy got up at 6am to feed the mew crew, and then went back to bed. So we thought that Louie the piglet had eaten all of her food, and that she was truly hungry....she was circling her dish & meowing like crazy....
So we decided to give her 1/2 a can of wet food. She ate it up. Shortly after our daughter was playing with Louie, and LuckyGirl decided to join in on the jumping & running fun that was going on. Soon after that she threw up. Then a little later, she spit up a bit, nothing solid...just liquid. But we kept a close eye on her, and she is fine now. Her daddy was worried about her, and wanted her to take it easy....so they both went & laid down in the bedroom (where there's peace from a 9yr old little girl and a tormenting little kitten) and the two of them fell asleep together....DH heard the beep of the camera and peeked his eye open just as I was snapping the picture.... I just about melted all over the floor when I walked in there and she was sleeping holding onto her daddy.... thank God she is safe now, and no longer on the streets....she is living the luxery life that she truly deserves!
