Sorry Hilda. I didn't see that game, but it sounds like it was a heartbreaker. And you guys were doing so well since you replaced our old quarterback (poor Drew).
On a happier note, The Patriots Won and football will last at least one more week for me.

I feel your pain. I'm a Chief's fan.

Truthfully, I'm not sure which is worse...getting blown out like we did, or losing like that. Anyway, I was rootin for ya, cause I enjoy seeing anyone beat Seattle.

Like you said, there's always next year, although in our case I think it's going to be a couple. Been thinking of sending in my resume to KC cause I'm pretty sure I can call better plays.

I guess they wanted to lose more than the Seahawks did. Great game, although I truly feel sorry for Tony Romo.

Oh yeah, poor Tony Romo...with his head held waaay down. You just had to hurt for him...he'd been showing such promise there for a while.

Welp, next year Cowpokes.

Did y'all watch the live interviews afterwards? I didn't see Romo but I did see poor Parcels'. I felt awful for him when those silly reporters were asking some reeeeally dumb questions. I mean, what did they expect as an answer? 'Its over', 'I dunno what happened', 'it was his fault', 'it was their fault'...dang poor guy...I just wanted it to be over. They just need to gather themselves together and start working all over again for next season...we'll be right here for them.

*hope there aren't any 'reporters' here that I might have offended with my 'silly reporters' comment*

Of all people, I never thought Parcels was one to have a problem answering an ignorant question from a reporter.

While you always hope your team is going to step up during the second season, sometimes it's good to be put out of your misery early. (like KC, who shouldn't have made the playoffs in the first place) Detroit?

Anyway, DH's excuse for Romo's miscue was that he was thinking about 'ol what's her name instead of keeping his mind on the game.

Well, that would actually be an improvement. I was referring to Jessica Simpson, although that was only a rumor.

This from Broken Newz:

After botching a 19 yard field goal attempt, former friends and colleagues of Dallas backup quarterback Tony Romo quickly distanced themselves from him. Most notable was short-time girlfriend, Jessica Simpson, who was at the game with her new boyfriend, Drew Bledsoe.
You don't wanna read the rest of the story.

And what's wrong with routing for the Patriots????
How can you be a Red Sox fan who won one World Series in 87 years and not like the Patriots who have won 3 superbowls in the past 5 years??

What a terrible way to lose.

I'm glad the Patriots won. Only because they were playing the Jets. Now, I can root against them next week.

THey needed a bigger fan base, and besides just because its the Boston Red Sox doesn't mean they aren't New England's team too! They were taking the World Series trophy all over the place, not just Boston. (And Boston Patriots just doesn't sound right)

So, you like Boston, but not the rest of New England?? Oh yeah, and what about your Carolina Panthers? Last time I checked Carolina was 2 states, not a city.
