We had the Northern Lights over our house for a couple of nights last year! (They weren't over just our house, but it sure was neat!)
I'd go to Prague.

I'm sooo jeleous! My best friend went there last year and she said it was so spendy! Once I get a job, I really want to start saving for a nice trip, I've never gone anywhere fun on vacation before, so thats going to be the first place I go!Originally Posted by LuckyGirl
Kenz, you would've loved it, as a child I spent every NYE in NYC watching the ball drop live! I grew up on Long Island, so Rockafellar Center was just a train ride away.... and now, in Philly we are only an hour & 45 minutes away from NYC....we have gone to the city to go to the different clubs & stuff over the past 8 yrs we've been together....DH had never been to NYC, so a few times we took a limo there with a bunch of friends, and did the horse drawn carriage ride, times square, Radio City Music Hall and lots of other stuff....it's a blast! (but a fortune too!)
I personally want to go to Italy-also a cruise to Alaska.Originally Posted by babyharley
On vacation....all expenses paid, where would you go?
For me... I've been dreaming of going to New York City for years, I want to go so so bad! Someday!I have a beautiful skyline photo as my desktop photo on my computer, I daydream about going everyday!
What about you? Where would you go?

But I love your dream of visiting NYC. I live in NJ, the Manhattan skyline is outside my window. I also work in Midtown Manhattan, where the ball drops on NYE is directly outside my office window.

I'll keep that in mind!Originally Posted by ckatz
This time of year (after the holidays) till early spring is really the best time to visit. Much less expensive and less crowded. I'm sure there are great deals with hotel and airfare.

China! My great-grandfather was from northern China (Mukden in those days, now Shenyang), and I'd love to do a tour of several weeks. Korea, Vietnam, and Japan would also interest me, as family members served there in the military, and my cousin's wife is from Japan. Maybe I should start playing the lottery!
