I found some on ebay in a design I like. But I have a question. It says they can be cut for a custom fit. How do I know the right size for Ping's neck.

You want the collar to be loose enough for 2 fingers between the collar and the cat's neck. Put a tape measure around Ping's neck loose enough for your 2 fingers!
