Over the river and through the woods...
Last time I went diving was 4 years ago. I lived in Guam for 4 years and dove several times a week. I miss it so much! Just wondering if anyone else here dives and if so where and what have you seen?

It IS awesome! I've dived with manta rays, sharks..I've fed eels, watched octopi having sex...it is COOL! I just watched an underwater show and started really missing it.

Dive Master here but haven't dived in years due to medical issues

You must go to Sipadan - the best place in the world to dive!

I got to rescue diver...haven't been diving in a long long time, not much to see in land locked Oklahoma. I went diving in Sebu.

My parents have been in Sipadan and they agree...best place

My husband and I have decided to get certified this year! We live just down the street from Ogden Point. Here's a video of Ogden Point from a diver in the Canadian Navy, with "Wolf eels, octopus, kelp and all the other Ogden Point stuff."

The downside is the water temperature (50 Farenheit or 10 Celcius). Brrr... It will be more fun to dive in Hawaii. Anyone have advice for newbies?

Cheers, from

if you dive instructor "adjusts" your tank and keeps asking you if you are OK, it's because he shut your valve off and he is practising the "no air" sign.......

think this happened to me?

I've never been....but I'm told the vet who spayed my girls is an expert diver....

I'm also told I will recognize him because he's a portly man with a handlebar mustache that jogs down the highway in his wetsuit on a regular basis!
(I've not met him in person. We were using the base vet for primary care, but he didn't do spays/neutering, so I went with the long time vet of 2 of my co-workers who I totally trust.)

Oh..Bali was wonderful! I did make it there but not Thailand. I know what you mean about lake diving...I just got spoiled!
