I'm shocked to hear this, I always loved Nakita's beautiful emerald eyes, she was so lovely. She was a gorgeous girl and I'm so sorry. Prayers for you and your family, and especially Nakita as she makes her way over The Bridge.

Like so many others, I've been crying ever since I read this. I feel like I've lost one of my own. I've been dreading this thread, and was pretty sure it was coming when I saw the last pictures you posted in the SS thread. She was just so fragile.

Even though Nakita wasn't destined to be here long, she was lucky in that she had the best Mommy & Daddy a kitty could want. Nobody could have tried harder, done more, or loved her harder than you and Rob did. I know her soul is at peace now, so my prayers are for you now, for the strength that will see you through your grief.

When you're feeling up to it, I hope you keep coming back here...you have friends here.

She will be waiting for you and Rob and watching over you both from the RB. She is lucky to have had you both as her parents for the time she was here.

Kass, Rob - my heart is heavy after reading this sad news. Many of us here feel your pain - obviously not as much as you, but painful nonetheless. I'm so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful, wonderful companion.

Kass, I didn't want to open this thread because I knew that it would be filled with pain. My heart goes out to you and Rob and your darling Nakita who is happy and free again.

Nakita was as sure as the sun at TCS, I can't believe she is gone. I am so terribly, dreadfully sorry. She was a beautiful, beautiful girl and I know your hearts must be breaking.

I am sure I am only one of many, many members in heartbroken tears over your precious girl. She was very loved.

I am so incredibly sorry to read this, I did truly hope that there would be a better outcome for you and Nakita. I can't think of anything else to say that hasn't already been said. RIP little one, another sadly taken too soon, but one of the lucky ones to have had such wonderful parents who did the best by you all the time.

I just logged on after 24 hours offline, and I started to cry as soon as I saw this thread. I am so so sorry that after all your love and care you have lost your sweet Nakita. There are no words that can express how we all feel, but you know that we share your pain and sorrow.
