people want kittens off craiglist for snake food..please check and flag

Ok I always check on the craiglist and well there is someone who admitted that he wanted a litter of kittens or puppies for snake food and he wants them under 2 months perferably and he rather have them alive for the snake and if not frozen :censor::censor::censor:??!!..im glad i read it because I flagged it a good few times and I keep making posts warning people....but please keep checking because he keeps going back and making posts his latest one was that he has a farm and and the kittens or puppies would live a long nice life on a farm but he wants them under 2 months and like i said before he wants litters and he said hes gotten them off of craiglist many times before...why are people like this I am just soooo mad here is the link to the latest one idk if it will last long because i flagged it a few times lol but i keep checking craiglist and there are new ones

no u didnt nominate it if u hit prohibuted...u are also able to nominate some for best of things which I do not under stand at all but i will be keeping every one updateed with more post this sucker wants to put up...im ready

This is sadly pretty normal. That is why anytime i have kittens up for adoption, I charge for them. Snake people don't want to pay for kittens they would rather get them for free.

ya thats what i keep putting in my posts u would think people that just wanna get rid of the kittens would wanna charge money for them just so they can get back what they spent and such....people these days.....

But we did it for tonite so far just gotta keep checking to make sure there are no more posts...so imma be on alert but we flagged this one down , just gotta stay alert ecspecially since he said in his first post that hes gotten them on there before, i dont want people thinking that there kittens are gonna have a great life when they arent there gonna be snake food...i wonder how many people he has fooled i just gotta keep checking...and be on alert !!! I wonder what his next story is gonna be

I saw another post wanting kittens. It just says "Looking for kittens for the kids". Yeah right. Do you reckon that's worth flagging? I don't believe it for a second. Anyone wanting kittens for their kids would include more info.

I also emailed someone wanting a declawed cat and told them why declawing is bad for cats, and alternatives to declawing.

U are so right its not that hard to go buy snake feed but people just believe well we will get free kittens and puppies or search and it just makes me soo I just wanna email that guy or just meet him and sick my brothers on him

"looking for kittens for kids" is definetly worth flagging...mind u my brother got a kitten for his kids after the rescued one because their dog was stolen it was a little pomapoo and it got out and a lady seen it with a whole bunch of kids and hes done everything and not even a half hour after he posted the flyers some one ripped every single one down (i am convinced that he is trying to catch up to us we got a kitten so what does he do , we had 3 cats then he doesnt kno about the newest one, and we have 2 dogs so he has a lab and then they got gizmo the pomapoo and since hes been gone my brother wants another lab mind u we have 2 labs ) but we ended up telling him about an add in the pennysaver and the lady was so good she washed the kitten and even trimmed the nails asked a lot of questions because they were free wanted to meet the kids and everything it was so wonderful ...we told him bout that ad well actually she called us there was another ad after that one guys about wanted a kitten and i am seeing alot of those and peole from craiglist posted saying u cant post wanted ads and such and people keep doing it ! People make me so mad.....but i just checked and theres nothing yet i am sure tomarrow there will be tho !!! But I am keeping my guard up

OK here is the newest pet....they never said anything about anything else and he is saying that well would u sto feeding ur cat stuff with chicken and ect...??? and snakes eat rabbits and such and ugh he said kittens and puppies nothing else im trying to make a point to people that dont sell ur pets for that cats dogs whatever and this is the newest post please go flag if its still there when u read this

...my neigbors had a large snake and they didnt feed it kittens or puppies or anything...they got the normal snake food stuff...mind u they had 4 cats themselves and never thought about it....

But what is wrong with people at least hes making a come back this time for now but I wonder if hes gonna try to make another post about it...and i never posted anything before i never seen anything until tonite and well appearantly alot of people dont like this guy coming on here and doing it...

I agree whole heartly. I post things on craigslist too about this same subject in the winchester, va. area. I wish someone would come on that same area too and post cause  I have had responders saying that I am nuts.. I learned this years ago. It is horrible. I hope whom does this is caught. It isn't right!!!!!!!

While I understand why folks would be upset at the idea, it's not exactly like you can go to the store and pick up a bag of snake kibble.  Snakes eat whole prey, and while thawed is best many people unfortunately feed live.  Big snakes need something bigger than the frozen rats that you can buy at the pet store.  I don't know what exactly people mean by "normal snake food stuff".  I know that there are at least a few people who feed live prey on here, and an avid mouse person may be equally as upset at the idea. 
 

That said, I am completely against a snake owner going on a site like Craigslist and posing as a family (or whatever the excuse) looking for kittens as pets when in reality they are to be fed to a snake.  That's just extremely misleading and not right.  Like others have said, people should always charge some sort of fee for reasons just like this.  If I had a large snake (it may happen eventually- I am a snake lover) I would go other routes to find food, but keep in mind that large snakes DO have to eat appropriate food as well.  I have had pet rodents in the past, and I am ok with turning around and feeding frozen mice to reptiles.  I could never do it with a kitten though!
