Well I went ahead with Peg! lol..

She was moved over. I will take a picture of her tomorrow. However I get the feeling she will have a home by then.

People LOVE Three legged animals! That is one thing I have learned in my job. I don't know why, but they get snatched up quickly. I don't consider a pet only having three legs a disability either. Now my cat who was born with no eyes..She has a disability! ( of course you wouldn't know it. )

I like super cool cat names, but in my job you start running out of great ideas.

Anyway I get the feeling tomorrow will be Peg's day!

The first name that came to my mind was "Tripod".

However, even though the kitty is missing a leg, I'd still avoid the cliche names and name him/her something "normal". And for me to pick a normal name I need to see a picture because to me a name goes with a creatures appearance and personality.

For example "Chynna" my oldest cat. She is pure white and I didn't want a cliche name like "Snowy" or "Snowball". So I gave it some thought. She is white and her fur is silky soft like down and she reminded me of fine porcelin dishes. But Porcelin sounded stupid. I thought of "China", but didn't want to name her after a country. So I figured I'd vary the spelling and came up with "Chynna"

I would suggest Trinket - something precious and pretty, but also the 'tri' of her three legs!

Neither does my Tripod!

Actually, Oliver doesn't believe Tri has a disability either. Just ask him about when he's sleeping and Tri walks up and slaps him in the ears.

Well, now that it is too late (that's typical for me) I was thinking of:

Tri-Ceratops, with a nickname of "Cera". Sorry I am late.

Just a note that this thread is from 2007 and this kitty was named Peg.
