If his nose is stuffy I've read that Neo-Synephrine "Little Noses" for babies is really gentle and can unstuff their noses. I've read it here on this site. I really hope little Stoli gets better. Thinking about him lots these days!

Hi everyone,

Stoli has had about 20 pieces of dry food today, about 6 tablespoons of pedialyte, and 1.5 oz of wet food, 1/2 a jar of baby food with probiotics. He's jumped on me a couple times for kisses and played with his mice but I can't get my hopes up. He's done well today, slept alot, but tomorrow is another day. thank you everyone for your vibes. He gets his CBC done again tomorrow with his bone marrow count too.

Good luck with the tests, I really hope that there is an improvement in the bloodwork that matches up with the apparent improvement in the way he is feeling!

Fingers crossed for you

long sigh,

Stoli's WBC has risen from .86 to 1.5 from Friday to Monday. He was 90% himself today and ate and drank everything on his own. I almost felt bad that I was taking him into the vet again.

He had another CBC which showed abnormal white cells. His platelets were also low. He had a bone marrow aspirate. His marrow is making white blood cells but we won't know until later on this week if they are normal or cancerous. They have ruled out FIP but not Leukemia or a 'mysterious' viral infection, or even an over active immune system. He's pretty dopey right now but still has a bit of an appetite. When he came out of his carrier he had both legs bandaged just above the ankle joint (i think). The doctor didn't give us any heads up or instructions about them so i don't know if i'm supposed to take them off. i think i'm going to wait until the specialists open up tomorrow morning to worry about it.

my poor baby is so woozey. and his shoulder is all shaved.

Stoli wanted me to take his bandages off. i checked the gauze for blood and there was none so i started snipping and pulling. he was so grateful for me doing this.

He's pretty tired and he had an accident on our floor but we brought him to the litter box and he peed so i think he just was very 'full' and needed to go and the drugs made him disoriented. he was at the vet from 1:30 to 5:00.
