Wow - that's a lot of books! Very impressive! My habit is too expensive, so unless it's something that I really want to have forever (like gardening books, needlework books, craft books, cookbooks - yeah I have shelves full of those) I go to the library. It's free and I read an average of 3 books a week, so it fits the budget!

we could set up a swap system via mail. media mail is really cheap and we could post a book that we loved but dont ant to keep and others could chim saying they want it and it could circulate that way. Am I making any sense?

Ok I have: a David Baldacci thriller called Hour Game. who ever speaks up first and sends me their snail mail address can have it. I will media mail it to you. If enough people reciprocate by sending books and not just getting them , the postage will even out. Or should this be members only?

Then I may have some other pop novels and cookbooks I can send to people.

we did a major purge before moving books cross country. I still need shelves over my kitchen desk area for a substantial cookbook collection. I am SO glad to have books out of the bedroom. achoo !!!!
