Enlarged kidney

I just got home from vacation and Mr. Odin (my male kitty, 7 YO) was being different. At first I thought he was mad that I left him at home, but then I realized he was not eating. I got him to drink, but he would not eat (even tuna). I just dropped him at the vet and she told me that one of his kidneys is pretty big. I am freaked out right now. 2 years ago he had fatty liver disease, but we got through that. He is a fighter, but I am just so worried. They are going to do bloodword and x-rays, but I have to wait until this afternoon for results. I am not sure what I am looking for here...she said it could be a number of things, but did not go into too much detail other than kidney stones or cancer. Has anyone else had a fur-baby go through this??
