At the moment i'm totally annoyed! I have a to-do list that's about a mile long and not enough time for everything. I'm trying to prioratize and get the most improtant stuff done so that i can finish some stuff soon, but i'm working soo much lately there's not a ton of time.

I have to take down the tree and pack away all the decorations
cook dinner
vaccume (i mopped the floor last night)
wash my clothes ( i did two loads of laundry last night)
file my FASFA appeal for school (tried earlier and couldn't figure out forms)
register for classes
hit the gym
pay my gym
schedule a mammogram
make some other doc appointments
hang the new bird feeder
and i'm sure there's a ton of stuff i'm forgetting

First things first, i'll start dinner - i tried filing my stuff for school online earlier but it was so hard that i just got frusterated and said i'd try later. I think i'll go ahead and do all of my cleaning tonight (i'm a neat freak so that shouldn't take long) and worry about everything else later maybe. I'm working 8 1/2 hr days the rest of the week so i'm gonna be swamped. I hate working full time and going to school full time- ahh but maybe i'll be worth it when i get a degree? Anyone else need a swift motivating kick in the butt tonight? At least I went ahead and got my clothes I needed this week (i seriously had nothing that fit)

here's what i did yesterday/today

got some much needed shopping done
dusted
mopped floors
cleaned glass in the house
thoroughly scrubbed down the foster kittens cages
ran some errands
scooped all the litter
brushed all the furbabies
cleaned one of the bathrooms
did dishes
did 2 loads of laundry
put mony in my savings account
got some stuff to put my Christmas decorations in....

I know what you mean. I have a million things to do at work along with having a million things to do at home and at my parents home. It feels like I am spread way too thin.

I love putting everything down on a list to do, and then checking it off as they are done and then adding more to the list checking off adding more

I have to make lists, but I hate them too:

So far I'm:

- prepare the first few weeks of a lesson plan
- get the email stuff working again at work
- Install server at work
- Do the dishes
- Play with the cats
- Get ready for start of classes
- Go to VS for semi-annual sale
- Go to parents to pick up receipt for a christmas gift I need to return
- Visit with sister one more time before she leaves
- Email my friend that I haven't emailed in close to a month
- pick up milk
- take out trash
- find some time to sleep...

Yep, I always have a long list:

Laundry
dishes
clean the apartment since I was too sick or gone during the holidays
take boxes out of car
assemble cat trees which are in the boxes
eat some decent food

Well I got some of it done- I just washed all my new lingera/bras by hand and hung them up to dry , made dinner, & loaded the dishwasher, scooped some litter. I still have a ton of things to do, but at least i got some done

My to-do list is always a mile long. Probably because if I get overwhelmed I just lay down and nap, which only perpetuates the cycle. Most of my to-do list is at work though. I don't even want to think about it right now....

Oh I know how you feel. I have to:

-Clean litter boxes in cat room
-Take dogs to field for off leash exercise
-Put gas in car
-Put away dishes
-Make an appointment at the vets for the birds
-Snow blow in front of the garage
-Do laundry

So, school started today (I got demoted in ensembles, but that's ok because I deserved it, since I've barely been able to play since my surgery, let alone prepare for a serious- but required- audition) so, of course, my to-do list is like 18 miles long.

Off the top of my head, I have to:
-Get the Crumb "Idyll for the Misbegotten" ready for a concert in T-minus 8 days
-Learn the Crumb (he's a composer, if you're wondering what I'm talking about...George Crumb...probably my all-time favorite) Vox Balaenae..um, soon. And it's darn near impossible Agh!
-Pay my tuition
-Buy a couple cases of wet food
-BUY SOME BRAS!
-Figure out how to dispose of my dead printer's body.
-Send my thank-you notes
-Forward my medical bills to my parents so they can grapple with insurance
-Wash the couch cover, sheets and pillow cases
-Wash the cat fountain
-Try to get ahold of the exhibits coordinator for the CFC (of which I am programs chair) to see how many silent auction donations we have.
-Type up my g-darn resume, which I've been trying to do for like 10,000 years now.
-Solicit a student for 6 free lessons for my Studio Teaching Lab from the local junior high.
-Finalized my senior recital program
-Take out the trash

What I have done:
-Sent roughly 5,000 emails of varying subject matter that needed to be sent
-Booked my recital date
-Made sure my chamber music registration was on file
-Swept/vacuumed and mopped
-Cleaned out the paper holder on my desk.
-Cleaned out my magazines
-Did dishes
-Went grocery shopping
-Did a load of laundry
-bought new litter and dumped the old, scrubbed the boxes and refilled them
-Cleaned out the fridge
-picked up my prescription
-Went to buy textbooks and found out I had none this quarter!!
-Picked up my new UPass
-Found my music for rehearsal tomorrow! Oops!

Hmmmm....how much of that can I do in my jammies and in the next 45 minutes?

IA. If you need me, just meow..
I have all sorts of to do lists.
I just do what I can and go from there.
Each room has it's own little list that I do each time I can and well it's not always done. The main things I like to have done are the dishes, the bathroom, and the laundry. If nothing else gets done that day oh well.
Good luck on your list.

OK so dishes can be scratched off until Friday or Saturday (yes we do fill the dishwasher THAT quickly)

And the trash is all set for tomorrow.

Oh and the cats were played with...but thats a repetitive nightly thing.

Today is:
VS at lunch for SHOPPPP-PING!
Parents house for the receipt I need
Pick up B's suit at the dry cleaners
Pick out new backpack for school (maybe)

no to do list here really, other than go to the grocery store and do a couple loads of wash, but those are easy
the other things, like the kitty boxes, I do every day so I can't really count them on my to-do list

Well....I stayed up till almost 2:30am last night and took down the Christmas tree and all of the decorations- they're all wrapped, organized, and packed away neatly for next year
All I have to do is store the boxes/ storage bin away.
