Where are the tumbleweed coming from?

I took Duke and Sibohan to my parents the week before Christmas so they could get used to the Christmas tree and make it easier for me to get the presents and stuff home. So I took that week to do a major cleaning of the apartment...
So I come home this week (it's only a 4 day work week so I decided to leave the kitties with mom and dad again) and I walk into the apartment and there are cat fur tumbleweeds all over the place it's like I didn't even clean!

So once again I have the dusters and sweepers and vacuum out trying to get the fur from it's hiding places.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I try not to look under the bed/dressers/bureaus or anything else where it can hide

All the time.

We grow cats under the dresser, bed, and in the corners.

Its kind of like the Smack the Mole game where I live...except more "vacuum the floating furball"

Yep. I have yet to find a solution.
