Only 3 days into the new year...

and I'm just blah today.

I read my mail the other day...my vision insurance (like most of my other insurance) stinks. I got a statement from them saying that since its been less then 24 months since my last eye checkup, they won't pay for the appointment I had back in mid-December.

Soooo....$50 for the contact fitting, $70 for the exam and $200 or so for a year supply of contacts.

Then I haven't heard from one of my friends...I called her a couple of times in the past 2 weeks and haven't heard back from her. I know she's been having money issues lately and right now is working at the mall. Then this morning as I was leaving I found the birthday present that she had got me (but kept forgetting to bring it over) hanging on the backdoor doorknob...no note or anything. I don't even know if she knocked or what. No phone message either.

So now I'm concerned with that.

Then this morning I'm just having a "I feel incompetent in my job" kind of day. I'll even admit it...I don't know what I'm doing half the time in my job...only because I really only know half of it.

Maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket...cause if I won then today would be a great day!

OK I think I licked the "incompetitant at my job" thing.

I always feel like that whenever there is an issue that I think I should know how to resolve, but don't. Lately there are just too many computer issues that I have never encountered...

I'll let you know about the lottery thing too...

This year could be a lot worse though...
