I'm so excited - the cat tree I ordered for my crew got here today!

I wasn't expecting to arrive this soon and was thinking it would be a weekend project. Now, of course, I'll have to try putting it up tonight.

Pics coming once its up!

Well, it's up and so far, no one but Peter has shown any interest.
Looks like meowmy is way more excited about this than the kitties!
Just need to give them some time to get used to it I guess!

Itsn't that how it always goes at first? Before you know it, you'll have them all fighting over it!

Entice them with catnip. Or just let Peter have it all by himself.

Cat tree completion! I agree with Pami, bait it with nip. Remember Karen had to do that with Abby's tree???

No luck with the 'nip. Claire's sitting on the floor close to it, though. We're making progress!

They probably know you are waiting for them to get on it so you can take pictures!

Well, it's BIG and they probably aren't real sure if it's a munster or not. Peter didn't get eaten, but it still bears watching before they actually check it out. After all, the vacuum munster is quiet most of the time too!

Good point. It's just a matter of them getting to used to it. I caught Claire on the upper perch and inside the little house, so will post those pics tomorrow.

It's funny how something new in the house has them all wound up. Peter's been tearing around the house like crazy tonight and Claire "killed" a couple of Xmas gift bags.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the crew enjoying their new tree. I think Heidi got it in one!

Exactly!
I had to bait the Tree Monster with toys and catnip before Abby would try it out. Of course opening the window that it is near also helped!
