OK so the last 4 days of my vacation were dedicated to this computer game called "Evidence: The Last Ritual".

It was a really cool game totally loved it, where I could apply my computer geek skills and pretend to be an investigator.

At the beginning of the you sign up with the investigative services and give them your email address. Then you get set up on a phony team (the team is really computer based) and occassionally receive emails from the serial killer.

I completed the game yesterday. The serial killer is dead and I get a bunch of congrats in my email from "the team".

There was one email address I was getting that named itself "The watcher in the shadows" and he or she would provide me hints. I thought it was the serial killer this whole time.

Well I just checked my email and apparently the game is still going as I just got an email from "the watcher in the shadows" saying how I didn't thank him for his help.

Yes, it does lead me to believe there will be a sequel to this game, but still...that's just freaky!!!

It is, even the packaging is cool...it's a clear box wrapped in a plastic bag labeled "Sealed for Evidence".

The surmise of the game is that a reknown serial killer sent the investigators this CD, so by buying the game you're "joining" their investigative services.

It gets a little spooky as you begin to receive emails from the serial killer saying that he knows where you live etc...

The game is really hard though...even using a "walk through" that I found online, it still took me 4 days (playing for like 4 - 8 hours each).
