I understand how you feel about your mom...I so wish WA state were just north of NY state

Knowledge is good...you'll get some answers and then get to feeling better..it's a good thing!

Will keep you in my thoughts, cheer up...and plan a surprise valentine's day gift to send to your mom...hmm...maybe a video of the cats, and a typical day between now and Valentine's day, with a message at the end about how much you miss sharing the every day and how much you love her, that her love is a constant presence in your life even when she isn't physcially there?

Susie why don't you pick the phone up and ring your mum?. I know mine was a good listener when she was still here, and although i used to see her once a week, sometimes a fortnight, i still rang her for a chat every night to talk about anything and everything.

Have you spoke to Jerry about all this as well?.

As much as I love Jerry, he does know about all this, but not to the extent. I try to be cheerful for him, but there are times he even sees through it!

Mom and I do talk everyday, if not talk, then email. After losing Dad in 2003, she and I got even closer. But you know, I'm so glad she's not lonely anymore and out of the normally freezing Ohio winters.........

We're so much alike you and me!!
Ever since my last cold about a month and half ago, I get dizzy/lightheaded when I lay back or sit up.......I mentioned it to the doctors office last week when I was there for my UTI and she mentioned Vertigo.......not sure what that was..........
BTW, what's a lug?

If you're constantly thinking of everything that's going on at once- of course you're going to feel overwhelmed and stressed- that's only normal for a lot of people. Instead, what you have to do is just the best you can and take it one step at a time. I know how difficult it can be to go through all of those medical tests- i can honestly say i've been there and i know what it's like. I'm only 21 and already i've had just about every GI test under the sun, numerous surgeries and procedures, heart monitiors and tests, steroids for my lugs, ultrasounds, stress tests, more blood tests than i can think of, diabetes tests, tests done by my ENT (i have a lot of vertigo and ear probs.)...you name it sweetie- i've been there.I understand.
If you want someone to talk to about your GI tests....please drop me a line! I'd be happy to just listen and try and be there for you. I know you're missing your mom- but honestly...TN isn't too bad
I live here too
She's only a flight away sweetie- you'll see her again soon. Try to hang in there. You can't constantly stress over the uncertanity at your work- it's out of your control sweetheart. All you can do is be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Be sure to have a good resume and outfit ready for applications if you should need to switch jobs...but try not to stress to much over something that's not under your control at the moment- just be prepared and try to save as much as you can- you will make it and you have a great hubby to help

My parents are only a couple hours away but I chat on the phone several times a week. They never got a computer (which is a good thing) or else I would probably have a million emails/day.
Good luck with the drs test. I had an upper GI many many yrs ago-stay close to the bathroom is my advise!
As for the job-well you know I lost my job of 20yrs over 1 yr ago. I knew it was coming though-don't stress over things you can't control.
Perhaps you need girly time for yourself-a bubble bath, a glass or two of wine and a good book might cheer you up.
Hang in there!!

Sooz, sometimes things seem to pile up on ya, don't they? Just take it one day at a time, one thing at a time, one foot in front of the other, and you'll get there. Try not to get swallowed by it, eh?

Thanks Frannie........it's hard not to get swallowed up in it, that's for sure. This morning I just feel like I don't care about anything..........but I'm fighting it........thank God I have this place. Work is so slow and boring I'd pull my hair out otherwise..........

Oh Susie - sorry you're feeling so down! Remember , your mom is just a phone call away. And with the health issues, cross each bridge as you come to it and don't stress about what-ifs! You'll drive yourself crazy if you do! We're all here for you to lend an ear and a shoulder to cry on when you need it!
