John and I are having a little problem. He is convinced that we need a song that is OUR song. I dont get why we need one. But he wants me to think of one and give him a reason for me to pick that song. So I was wondering how many of you guys have a song? If so what is it?

Brian and I have a song. It's the first song he ever sang to me, and the first song we danced to at our wedding. The words are very fitting for our relationship.

Our song is Unchained Melody. The only song we ever dance to. And no matter where we hear it, we stop and dance to it (unless we're driving.) We got some funny looks in WalMart once.

We first danced together to Rufus Wainwright's cover of Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah," so that's become our song (I prefer the Jeff Buckley cover, but both are beautiful). If we have a "first dance" song played at our wedding, that'll be it.

Ok, now before you think I'm nuts....
For those that don't know, that's the MASH theme song... and it does have words, but the words were only sung in the movie version. (See lyrics here: http://www.mash4077.co.uk/theme.html )
Anywho... I am a MASH addict... always have been... so naturally, I watch all the reruns. So to "enhance" (if you can call it that) my tv watching experience, whenever he hears the theme song come on he sings "Suicide is Painless"... and ONLY "Suicide is painless"... you see, he doesn't remember all the words so instead he ends up repeating "suicide is painless" throughout the whole song
Cracks me up because he tosses in a couple of rock star moves too
