Here are the 3 cats:

mother cat, 7 years old, gets along with all cats(new or old)

herbaby,5 years old, innocense, spoiled, turns into a 'devil cat
when a new cat is in the house..fierce hissing, spitting, etc. After
about 4 months, she becomes friends with other cats that she hated before.
not a tough cat at all, fragile

boycat(male), 3 years old. 2 years ago we took him in as a stray(after a physical, shots, etc) he was just about wild when we caught him. he
has become a tame cat,but the wildness can come out of him from time
to time. he plays rough with other cat in house

NEW STRAY presently at the vets. We are thinking of adopting him but wondering how he would get along with the other male cat. This stray cat is male, 1 years old, EXTREMELY,AGGRESSIVELY friendly. You look at him and he hops up to your chest purring, face rubbing, etc. very vocal, more muscular than our present male cat.

Our male cat versus new Stray male cat. Would there be a fight to the death or something? Would the two males hurt the baby of the mother cat??

any thoughts?

It can work but you would need to follow certain steps to introduce your resident cats to the new one. Here are some links to read through to show you how to affectively do that.
