My new kitty is terribly sick.

Took her back to the vet for the second time in two days. First day she got a shot and some amoxi drops. Today the doc gave her another shot and a pill. I took her back because I could hear her try to breath and all I could hear was snott sniffling. Total congestion. Doc said it was stil just congestions and hasn't moved into her chest cavity yet or something like that. I have to take her back Saturday morning for another shot and then maybe another one during the week. I feel so bad about her. At least they're not charging me for the meds but I still wish there was something I could do for her.

There's a couple things you can do to help her with her congestion. Lock her in the bathroom with you when you take a shower so she gets the steam treatment. There was also a thread here where people said their kitties LOVED the smell (and taste apparently) of Vick Vapor Rub. You may want to see if she will sniff that for a while and it may help her congestion.

Ahhhhh. I never thought of that. I usually shower at the gym during the week and only here on the weekends. I'll take one before work and one when I get back tonight just to see if it helps. She's been locked in the bathroom dang near since I picked her up. Think I've got some vapo-rub too. Thanks!
