Vermont Fire Dept. gets animal rescue masks

The Rudlandt Animal Disaster Rescue Team is donating 3 animal rescue masks to their local fire dept. One of their members was impressed when she saw TV video of a fireman resucitating a rescued cat with a human mask and decided to help out What a wonderful cat lover
And what a great idea!

I don't know if it's the same thing - but there was a story on Animal Rescue of firefighters resuscitating a non-responsive kitten who'd been caught in a house fire.

It was beautiful to see them trying to hard, then the kitten start to come around again, and improve minute by minute, then snuggling into the firefighters chest once we was looking a lot more lively.

A paramedic my husband knows intubated and thus saved a cat that was in a house fire. His fire dept. has small masks for animals.

That is great. We had a fire at a kennel here and while 3 dogs were lost, 2 were resuscitated. It is so nice to see that we have come to this point. In years past, they probably wouldn't have tried.
