Sadie is doing great after spay

Hi All. I just wanted to let everyone know that Sadie is doing great after being spayed on Friday. The vet let her leave a bit too early and she was still very groggy and scared (which scared the heck out of us). But she is doing great with the cone and she's been good not to bite at her stiches when we take the cone off so she can have a little freedom. Thanks for everyone's advice and support on Friday night! Happy New Year!

It's good to hear that she's doing well. It's always hard to see them so groggy after surgery! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

We think she was still too groggy to have gone home, but she made it just fine.
My partner is at home today with Sadie and she's doing even better than yesterday! Playing and trying to attack her brother She's gotten used to the cone, but we have to watch her very close when we take it off because she starts going grooming crazy, and eventually makes it down to the stiches.
