One of my four kitties has not been using the litterbox. I read all the "litterbox problems" posts and have a vet appt. on Monday.
She's been doing it for a while and I have been experimenting with all kinds of variations----bigger box, covered box, pine litter, sand litter, clumping litter, non-clumping litter, scented and unscented and every combination thereof. She still does her business outside of the box. Before she would only defecate out of the box but now she's starting to urinate too.
At least it's not in the house, they have an enclosed patio where the litterboxes are located. But it has a concrete floor, and not sure how long she's been peeing but it has soaked into the concrete. I' ve tried all kinds of over the counter cleaners, after cleaning it doesn't smell but I guess she can still smell it cause she pees in the same general area.
Anyway getting back to the original question.....I came across the planeturine website and was wondering if anybody has tried their products. According to them, it's almost impossible to get the urine out of the concrete since concrete is porous. The only alternative is to actually seal the smell in by using gallons of their product (of course) and then priming the floor with some stain blocking primer (forgot the name) about 3 coats of primer. Then painting the floor.
Anybody have any experience in this? Or another product that works?Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
